GREENWICH, Conn. – Film producer and director Ron Howard has put his six-bedroom home along the border of Greenwich and Armonk, N.Y., on the market for $27.5 million.

Howard and his family lived at the 32-acre estate Conyers Farm for more than two decades. The home contains 23 rooms, including six bedrooms and five full baths. There are also four half-baths.

Tamar Lurie of Coldwell Banker and Lyn Stevens of Sotheby’s International Realty are the listing agents. Complete details on the home are on the listing website.

Interior features include seven fireplaces, a fitness room, indoor pool, home office, wine cellar and, of course, a home theater. There is also a two-bedroom guest cottage, greenhouses, an observatory and barns.

In a news release on, Howard said, “Whether we’re watching films in our theater, walking the trails throughout our property, star gazing in our observatory, or just relaxing with friends and loved ones by the lake, Cheryl and I feel we’ve accomplished the goals we set when we began work on this place. Our children are grown, so it’s time to move on, but the memories of this very special place will never leave us.”

Howard came to prominence as a child actor in "The Andy Griffith Show" in the 1960s and on "Happy Days" in the 1970s. As a director and producer, his credits include "A Beautiful Mind," for which he won the Academy Award for Best Director. Some of his other movies include "Backdraft," "Apollo 13," "Nightshift," "Splash" and "Cocoon."
