A man has been accused of grand larceny after attempting to use stolen credit cards at a Long Island retailer, police say.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers say a wallet was stolen from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Patchogue (499-61 Sunrise Highway) on Tuesday, Oct. 15 around 7 p.m.

A man, pictured above, then attempted to use the stolen credit cards at 7-Eleven in Patchogue (286 W. Roe Boulevard) on Wednesday, Oct. 16, around 3:30 a.m., according to police.
