Mamaroneck Police Ticket Six In Park After Hours

MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Mamaroneck police issued village code violation summonses last week to six late-night park goers in two incidents at Harbor Island Park.

About 1 a.m. Wednesday, a 22-year-old Mamaroneck village man, a 22-year-old New Rochelle woman, a 20-year-old Hastings-on-Hudson woman and a 21-year-old Harrison man received summonses accusing them of being in the park after hours.

About 1 a.m. Thursday, a 16-year-old girl from the Bronx and a 19-year-old woman from New Rochelle also received summonses accusing them of being in the park after hours.

The following items also were reported by Mamaroneck police:

Rock Throwing: Police were sent to a Mamaroneck Avenue home Tuesday morning to investigate a report of damaged vehicles. The driver's side mirror was damaged on a 2003 Honda, the rear bumper was damaged on a 1998 Audi, and a rear door was damaged on a 2000 Acura. All the damage appeared to be caused by thrown rocks.

Warrant Arrest: New Rochelle resident Jason Disisto, 20, appeared Thursday in Mamaroneck Village Court on a summons and was arrested. He had been pulled over Saturday, July 14, for a traffic violation, and was wanted on previous charges of resisting arrest and unlicensed operation and a vehicle equipment infraction, police said.
