MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Town of Mamaroneck police responded to "numerous calls" about shots fired Tuesday night outside an apartment building.

Lt. Robert Koziak, a police spokesman, said no one was injured or arrested in connection with the 10:18 p.m. shootings at 35 N. Chatsworth Ave. in Larchmont.

Koziak said police found bullet holes damaged a vehicle in the parking lot of the Chatsworth apartment building, known as Carlton House.

A bullet also went through the wall of a Mamaroneck home located near the Chatsworth apartment building, according to Koziak, who did not disclose the house number. No one was hurt at the nearby home, Koziak said on Wednesday.

There's a grassy gully between Carlton House apartments and the house with the bullet hole. Police were searching there for a couple of hours with flashlights, a neighbor sad.

There have been several house robberies in nearby "Larchmont Woods" -- which is physically in New Rochelle.

At least eight police cars with searchlights responded, a neighbor told Daily Voice.

"I live nearby, heard the shots (but) did not call police though, thinking it was my husband's TV," she said.
