Mamaroneck Police Officer To Sue Village For Harassment

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- A Village of Mamaroneck police officer has filed the required paperwork to bring a lawsuit against the village after he said he was harassed by a detective on the force, according to LoHud.com

Matthew DiRuzza's complaint states that colleague Det. Richard Carroll threatened him on multiple occasions. The complaint does not state what the motivation behind the treats were. DiRuzza's lawyer said it began after DiRuzza began dating Carroll's ex-wife, LoHud.com reported. 

The complaint does not state how much DiRuzza is seeking in damages, LoHud.com said.
