Eight families were displaced after a fire broke out Friday night in Mamaroneck.
All residents of a four-story structure on Mount Pleasant Avenue made it out safely after the blaze broke out around 8 p.m. They 25 people will not be able to return until the structured has been ruled as safe.
The Red Cross is assisting those displaced and the Mamaroneck community has collected donations to assist the families.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
