Pair Of Powerball Tickets Worth $50,000 Sold In Pelham, Pleasantville

Although lightning is said to never strike the same place twice, evidently the same rule does not apply to lottery winnings, as two lucky Westchester residents bought $50,000 tickets on the same day.

One of the winning tickets was bought in Pelham at the Pelham Plaza Gourmet Deli on Fifth Avenue.

The two third-prize-winning Powerball tickets were sold for the drawing on Monday, April 17, and had four matching numbers in addition to the Powerball number, New York Lottery announced.

The two tickets were sold in both Pelham and Pleasantville at the following locations:

Pelham Plaza Gourmet Deli, located in Pelham at 605 Fifth Ave.;
V&D Food and Gas, located in Pleasantville on Marble Street.

The winning Powerball numbers for the drawing were 23-25-35-63-64 and the Powerball number was 25.
