MAMARONECK, N.Y.-- Maria DiFiore, of Mamaroneck, died Oct. 7, at age 88.
She was born Aug. 10, 1927, to Antonio & Luigia Castagna.
She worked as a factory worker for Sealectro. She is the wife of Osvaldo DiFiore, the mother of Stefano (Maria) DiFiore, grandmother of Robert DiFiore and Stephanie (John) Figliomeni and great-grandmother of five.
She also is survived by a sister-in-law, Floriana Castagna and niece Maria Castagna.
To honor her life, family and friends will gather from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gregory the Great RC Church, followed by entombment at Ferncliff Cemetery.
