WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The missing person alert for Leo Shamburger, a 77-year-old Bronx man with Alzheimer's disease, has been canceled.

No further information was immediately released.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Leo Shamburger, a 77-year-old Bronx man with Alzheimer's disease, has been reported missing.

He was last seen in the area of 91st Avenue and Archer Avenue in Queens, N.Y. at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1. He is driving a 2009 Black Chrysler Town and Country, and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray shirt, black sneakers, and a blue baseball hat.

Police are asking the public in the following areas to keep an eye out for this man: Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Orange, Putnam, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, and Westchester counties.
