- Village officials and Mamaroneck police warned residents of a possible door-to-door scam after Officials received complaints that one or more people "are walking around neighborhoods of the Village and advising that the Village or some other government entity is going to take property by eminent domain for development either as commercial or residential property."
- Westchester Republican Party Chairman Doug Colety’s private printing company has made more than $6 million over the last ten years off GOP campaigns, reports LoHud.com.
- The sight of a large undomesticated carnivore, a rare bobcat, was reported in Westchester.
- New York State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman announced a multi-state coalition with Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Jersey in an effort to battle the growing problem of heroin use and the distribution of the drug.
