LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- No one's car was safe Dec. 16, as seven were broken into all in one night, four of which were parked on Jochum Avenue, according to Larchmont Police.
All of the cars entered were left unlocked and a total of $248 was stolen, including $10, $150 and $68 from Jochum Avenue residents. A West Avenue resident, whose car was parked in Lot 7 on West Avenue reported $10 in coins stolen.
A Woods Way resident reported her car was parked and left unlocked in her driveway and an undetermined amount of property was missing. One of the Jochum Avenue victims, as well as one from Shadow Lane, reported no property missing.
Police Chief John Poleway reminded residents to remove valuables from cars, or keep them out of sight.
