Red Cross Announces November Blood Drives In Mamaroneck

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The American Red Cross will hold blood drives throughout November in Westchester County.

Mamaroneck Public Library (136 Prospect Ave.) will host a blood drive on Nov. 4 from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. 

Another blood donation opportunity will take place at New Rochelle's Empire Harley Davidson (8 Industrial Ln.) on Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In Pleasantville, Pace University (861 Bedford Rd.) will hold a drive on Nov. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

According to the Red Cross, donations decrease from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day, resulting in less blood available for patients. 

All blood types are needed, especially O negative, B negative, A negative and AB blood.
