MAMARONECK, N.Y. Film crews caused a few heads to turn Monday afternoon on West Boston Post Road across from Mamaroneck High School.
Cars and taxicabs from the 1970s and early 1980s filled the Mamaroneck Motels parking lot for filming of the pilot show for a proposed FX Network series called The Americans. Filming also took place in the Orienta Gardens condominium complex, also across from the high school.
The show is about two KGB spies posing as Americans during the Cold War in the 80s, according to onlocationvacations.com.
