MAMARONECK, N.Y. The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department reported that $2,900 worth of miscellaneous construction parts were stolen between April 5 and April 10 from Harbor Island Park behind the sewage treatment plant.
The following incidents were also reported to the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department between April 8 and April 11.
Larceny: A Honda parked April 10 in a parking lot on W. Boston Post Road was broken into sometime between 6:15 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. Police reports say the cars passenger window was broken and various items were reported stolen, including a cell phone worth $500, an iPod worth $250 and approximately $80 in cash.
Identity Theft: A Stuart Avenue resident reported April 10 that someone used his credit card number to make $3,600 in purchases and opened a credit card in his name without permission.
Drunk Driver: An early morning joy ride down Boston Post Road April 9 left five friends each with a summons for an open container of alcohol. The driver, a 19-year-old Scarsdale woman was also charged with driving while ability impaired and a 20-year-old Mamaroneck woman was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
