- Judge Judy Sheindlin will kick off her seventh year of helping female students from White Plains, Mount Vernon, Yonkers and Mamaroneck schools, through the "Her Honor Mentoring" program.
- Wildlife rehabilitator Kate Murphy is looking for the owner of a cockatiel found Monday, Oct. 7 at the intersection of Larchmont and Willow Avenues.
- Kerry Kennedy's trial for impaired driving is set for Jan. 22, but venue is still in question.
- Larchmont Mamaroneck Community Television, the public access TV station serving Larchmont, Mamaroneck and Rye Neck, announced the election of four new board members on Monday, Oct. 7.
