LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- A car on Chatsworth Avenue crashed through Pink on Palmer's store front while backing up out of a parking space, said Samantha Schmaling, who saw the accident while at work in an adjacent store Thursday afternoon.
Schmaling and a colleague said there were three elderly men in the car, and all walked away seemingly unharmed.
Lt. Antonio Rigano of the Larchmont Police Department didn't return a call for comment.
Following the accident, Schmaling said she called the police after the light blue car quickly backed up over the curb and into the Larchmont store window.
As curious spectators crowded around the taped-off corner of Chatsworth and Palmer Avenue, department of public works employees helped store personnel clean up the debris.
Schmaling said the employees of Pink on Palmer often sit right by that window, and that it was fortunate no one was injured.
