Norwalk's Courage To Speak Receives Grant From AT&T

NORWALK, Conn. – State Rep. Christopher Perone and Connecticut’s AT&T Director of External Affairs Harry Carey recently worked together to provide a $2,500 grant to the Courage to Speak Foundation of Norwalk.

Courage to Speak designs drug-prevention and education programs to children, adolescents and parents.

“Organizations like the Courage to Speak Foundation can change lives and position entire communities for brighter futures,” says Carey. “We commend Ginger and Larry for their outstanding work, and we are proud to support their efforts in any way we can.” 

Ginger Katz, CEO and Founder of the Courage to Speak Foundation and author of Sunny’s Story, has presented to hundreds of thousands of people across the country since losing her son to drugs. The Courage to Speak Foundation, along with experts in the field, has created drug prevention programs for students in elementary, middle and high school as well as for parents.
