Mamaroneck's David O. Russell Gets Best Director Nod

MAMARONECK, N.Y. - Mamaroneck High School graduate David O. Russell's American Hustle dominated when Oscar nominations were released Thursday morning.

American Hustle earned 10 nominations, including Best Picture and all best actor and actress categories. Russell was nominated for Best Director.

Russell, who also directed I Heart Huckabees and Silver Linings Playbook, is 55.
