Mamaroneck's Cicely G. Previews Oprah's 'Belief' Series

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Cicely G, of Mamaroneck's LMC-TV cable television "Give and Take" show, will be participating in a live conference at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Cicely G, host of the "Give and Take" show on Mamaroneck's LMC-TV cable television station will premier a new show, BELIEF, backed by Oprah Winfrey Oct. 18.

The show can be watched live at the Mamaroneck United Methodist Church, 546 E. Boston Post Road. Oprah Winfrey will share key information about the series and take questions and comments from callers. The local "Give and Take" TV show has joined Oprah’s Belief Team to promote the premiere of her documentary series, “Belief,” which will air on OWN, (Oprah Winfrey Network).

Cicely G collaborated with the Mamaroneck United Methodist Church for the documentary series, which premieres at 7 p.m. Sunday Oct. 18.

Some of the questions that will be discussed: How does faith and belief tie you and your community together? What faith practices do you engage in to sustain yourself and community during the most challenging times? What are steps we can take to embrace diversity of beliefs within our community? What is your hope for the future of belief around the world? What is your hope for the future of intercultural understanding in our community?
