“What makes this festival unique is that some of the greatest beers from the most amazing breweries in the world including those from Belgium, Germany, England, France and Czechoslovakia will be on tap for sampling,” said Alan Daniels, chief executive officer of festival sponsors Half Time. “Furthermore, many of the Trappist breweries can also be sampled, the ones the Monks make in their monasteries over in Belgium. Big American craft favorites like Dogfish, Lagunitas, Stone, Founders, Bells, Ballast Point, and Sierra Nevada, as well as many other top breweries will be sampling their beers as well.”
The festival will feature more than 150 breweries from around the world. Beer connoisseurs can sample the latest craft beers as twenty new breweries and cider companies will make their debut at the event.
In addition to beer, vendors such as Smoke House, Salsa Fresco, Dub Pies and more will serve food. For dessert, Penny Lick Ice Cream Company and The Dessertist will provide the sweets.
The festival will hold seminars and presentations for patrons interested in learning about the craft beer movement.
More than 5,000 beer lovers attended the event last year.
