Ralph's Italian Ices & Ice Cream on Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck, which has been popular since opening in May 2016, often attracting long lines and -- for some in the neighborhood, parking headaches -- may be forced to shut down within a week, according to a decision made by village officials.
Ralph’s has been given one week to close after being denied a special permit to remain open by the Mamaroneck Zoning Board of Appeals, according to News 12.
Ralph's contends that it brought in extra staff to keep lines moving, hired a parking attendant and even reconfigured the parking lot, News 12 said.
The store is at 946 E. Boston Post Road. There is, however, a second locale along Route 22 in North White Plains.
