After the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Svetlana Bridal Couture, the guests were invited to the shop for refreshments and had a chance to observe a full collection of a one-of-a-kind bridal gowns and accessories by Svetlana Bridal Couture.

“We are so excited there is a bridal shop in our area now,” said Nancy White, a local flower shop owner. “There are many creative and hard-working entrepreneurs connected with the bridal industry here in Larchmont. Svetlana Bridal Couture will strengthen our networking capabilities and will attract more brides to our local business area.”

That is what Natalia Martinez, owner and manager of Svetlana Bridal Couture is hoping to do in the village.

“We really need to build a loyal customer base around our brand,” Martinez said. “I would really like to thank the community for support, as well as local business owners who came to my event, and of course, Mayor Anne McAndrews, for being part of the event and providing an incredible review of our gown creations.”

Martinez has great role models to look up to. Her mother has been a successful bridal designer and business owner for more than 20 years in Russia. Furthermore, the space Svetlana Bridal Couture is occupying at the moment, once was a successful party planning business owned by David Tutera, an American celebrity, wedding planner, bridal fashion designer, and native of Port Chester.

Other attendees celebrating the event included Martinez' mother-in-law, Maria Bruno; make-up artists,' Vita Natelli; owners of the building, Andrew and Ximena Francella; and Natalia's sister-in-law, Maria Martinez.
