One Dead, Another Injured In Jersey City Shooting

One person was dead and another injured in a Jersey City shooting, authorities said.

Davon Deloach, 30, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso near 39 Fulton Ave., in Jersey City Monday night, authorities said.

Davon Deloach, 30, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso near 39 Fulton Ave., around 10:30 p.m. Monday, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.

He was taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead around 1 a.m., Suarez said.

A 31-year-old male from Union was found on Van Cleef Street having suffered a non life-threatening gunshot wound in one of his legs, the prosecutor said. He was transported by EMS to Jersey City Medical Center and released Tuesday, Suarez said.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday afternoon.

The incident remains under investigation by the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit and the Jersey City Police Department .
