Missing Pennsylvania Man Who Frequented Sussex County Found Dead In Crashed Van

An 84-year-old Pennsylvania man known around Sussex County and reported missing last month was found dead inside his wife's crashed van, authorities said.

Fayez Dahan, who suffered from dementia, was found Monday along route 6 in Milford Township, PA, the Pike County Coroner's Office said.

His death was ruled an accident and the was was due to multiple injuries, authorities said.

Dahan lived about 15 miles from the Sussex County border, in Shohola Township, PA.

A Sussex County resident told Dahan's daughter she thought she may have seen his van that sports a distinctive "Virginia grandparent" sticker on the back window, on Oct. 13. The woman said the van was in a garden center on Route 206 in the Culver's Lake area of Frankford.

Authorities say the fatal accident happened shortly after Dahan went missing.
