Open Space and Preserves Advisory Committee Meeting: 7 p.m. The Open Space and Preserves Advisory Committee will its regular monthly meeting at the Town House. 11 Main St., South Salem.

Katonah-Lewisboro Special Education PTA meeting: 7:15 p.m. SEPTA will hold a meeting at the John Jay Middle School Library. Refreshments will be served at 7:15 p.m. followed by a presentation by Bonnie Graham, LMSW, on the topic “Supporting Siblings of Children with Special Needs.” North Salem Road, Cross River.

Lewisboro Town Board work session: 7:30 p.m. The Town Board will holds it monthly work session at the Lewisboro Library. Topics will include a review of the inter-municipal agreement with Pound Ridge for shared equipment and a request to add traffic signs on Bountonville Road South in Cross River. 15 Main St., South Salem.

Tuesday, May 8

Lewisboro Library’s Fiction Writing Workshop: 7 p.m. The library will hold its fiction writing workshop, led by South Salem resident Kim Kovach, author of “A Few Bad Decisions” and “The Adventures of Kitchawan Kenny.” Explore character, setting, point-of-view and dialogue via in-class writing exercises and homework assignments. Thursday, May 10

Lewisboro Library Toddler Time: 10:30 a.m. The library offers stories and activities for children ages 20 months to 3 years. It will also hold its preschool program for kids ages 3 to 6 at 1:30 p.m. Both events require registration. Call the library at 914-761-3857. 15 Main St., South Salem.

Friday, May 11

Wolf Conservation Center’s Evening Howl for Pups of All Ages: 6:30 p.m. Visit the wolves during their favorite hour — dusk. Learn about the mythology, biology and ecology of wolf families and discover why spring is a magical time for packs in North America. Guests will take a short sunset hike to howl with ambassador wolves Atka, Alawa and Zephyr and behold the center’s critically endangered red wolves and Mexican wolves. All guests will be served weather-appropriate treats. Bring flashlights. The fee is $16 for adults, $13 for kids under 12. Preregistration is required by visiting www.nywolf.org.
