Vista Fire Department Responds to Six Calls

VISTA, N.Y. – The Vista Fire Department responded to six calls this week, including a three-car accident.

The fire log for the week of May 14-21 follows:

May 14

The department received a request for the ambulance at a residence on Bittersweet Lane at 8:58 p.m. The patient was transported to Norwalk Hospital with the Westchester paramedic on board.

May 16

The department received a request for the ambulance at a residence on Glen Drive. At 12:38 p.m. The patient was transported to Norwalk Hospital.

May 17

At 12:37 p.m., the department received a request for the ambulance at a residence on Stone Meadow Drive. The patient was transported to Danbury Hospital.

May 19

At 2:28 p.m., a request was made for the ambulance at a residence on Smithridge Road. The patient was transported to Norwalk hospital.

The department received a report of a three-car accident on Smithridge Road at 3 p.m. First responders arrived to find a chain reaction rear-end collision type accident. The department checked all six people and all refused to go to the hospital. 

May 20

At 12:50 p.m., the department received a request for the ambulance at a residence on Lorraine Road. The patient was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital.
