Thousands Of Nyseg Customers Remain Without Power

More than 40,000 Hudson Valley NYSEG customers remain without power following the weekend Nor’easter as communities continue cleaning up from the storm that left downed trees and power lines throughout the region.

More than 45,000 NYSEG customers are still without power Sunday morning in Northern Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties.

As of 2 p.m. on Monday afternoon, out of NYSEG’s 86,737 Hudson Valley customers, 44,993 are without power as crews continue repair efforts with no estimated time of restoration reported.

In Putnam County, 20,246 customers are reporting outages out of NYSEG’s 38,310 customers. In Dutchess County, 4,946 customers are reporting outages out of NYSEG’s 15,621 customers and in Westchester County, 19,801 customers are reporting outages out of NYSEG’s 32,806 customers.
