Route 22 Reopens After Downed Tree Causes Closure

A stretch of Route 22 in North Castle reopened Tuesday night after a downed tree caused its closure in the afternoon amid heavy downpours and strong gusty winds.

The 3 p.m. closure was between Baldwin Road and Chestnut Ridge Road. 

The road reopened around 9 p.m.
