Lewisboro Library Collecting Toys, Clothes For Christmas Dinner

KATHONAH, N.Y. -- Now is the time to gather your donations for the annual "Westchester Christmas Dinner" held yearly by a group of local volunteers at St. Mary's School in Katonah.

This year, more than 300 needy families are expected to attend the dinner. In addition to food, the group is also collecting new, unwrapped toys, clothing and gifts to hand out at the dinner.

The Lewisboro Library is the designated drop-off spot for donations in Lewisboro. Please look for the "Christmas Dinner" collection bin, located across from the circulation desk. Suggested items are toys for kids, casual winter clothing for teens and adults (sizes M - 3x), twin sheets and blankets, toiletry sets and gift cards. Items may be dropped off through December 22.
