Lewisboro Cops Investigate Two Domestic Incidents

LEWISBORO, N.Y. – Lewisboro police investigated two separate domestic incidents this past week that involved harassment and breach of an order of protection.

On Wednesday, Feb. 8, a South Salem woman came to the police station to report a violation of an order of protection she had against her husband. She told officers that both her and her husband attended a custody hearing at family court earlier that day and the judge suspended her husband’s visitations with the children. The woman claimed that he later texted her that he was picking up the children anyway. She told police that she feared he might come to the house because he was angry at the visitation suspension.

In a separate incident on Friday, police were called to a residence on Route 35 in South Salem for an aggravated harassment call. The couple that lived there told officers that their former son-in-law made a disturbing statement over the phone to the couple’s daughter. The couple said that during an argument he stated he would make them “disappear off the face of this earth and have them charged with treason.”

Police did not speak with the couple's daughter, who was picking up her own children up at school at the time. They advised her parents to have her come down to the police department and file a domestic incident report.
