WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Motorists are advised that right and center lane closures are planned for the southbound side of Interstate 684 between Exit 3 (Route 22) and Exit 1 (I-287) on Monday, so crews may perform maintenance activities.
Closures are expected between 10 a.m. through 2 p.m. and are weather permitting. Motorists may experience delays. Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers.
Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of a driver's license. For up-to-date travel information, call 511 or visit www.511NY.org.
