The Friday night, 8-10 p.m. performance hosted by on-air personality Jacque Roche will be held at the ice arena, 63 Fields Lane, Brewster and feature students in The School of Rock's Bedford house band.

“We are going to provide the community with a family-friendly, two-hour music program that will include raffle prizes, free giveaways, and some really great music,” Roche said.

In addition to the use of the rink for the concert, Brewster Ice Arena has contributed a backpack of goodies towards the raffle that includes a T-shirt, water bottle, winter cap, a pair of tickets to see the Danbury Titans (at Danbury Ice Arena) and free admission for four visits on the ice during public sessions, along with a great discount card.

Gift certificates were donated by McDonalds, The Somers Pub, Imperial Wok, First Choice Airport and Limousine Service and Sweat Shop Studios.

The house band from the School of Rock includes the most talented students age 7-18 (mostly from the Putnam/northern Westchester area) at this school’s location. These students rehearse a set of classic rock, modern rock, funk, soul, and other material weekly to bring a diverse and entertaining set list to the stage at local community events. For additional information about the school or any of its programs, please call (914) 234-0418.
