The Cultural Arts Coalition is set to present “Slow: The Long Exposure Photography of Justin P. Goodhart” with an opening reception on Friday, March 31st from 7 to 9 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Goodhart grew up in the Adirondack region and has always had a strong connection to the land and the beauty of the world around us. Following college and starting a career in New England he returned to New York in 2009.

“After having been a casual photographer for many years it was the beauty of the Hudson Valley that served as inspiration for me to start taking photography more seriously," Goodhart said. "I'm very excited for the show...and a tad nervous. The thing that often interests me most about long exposure is how a static image has the ability to show the passage of time and our movement through it. I also find the process of creating long exposure photographs very relaxing and reflective."

Studio Around the Corner located at the back entrance of the Old Town Hall at 67 Main Street in Brewster, NY. Additional Gallery Hours are 12-2 p.m. on the following Saturdays: April 1, April 8, April 22 and April 29.
