Grace Farms describes itself as a welcoming place, where a building designed by SANAA is seamlessly integrated into 80 acres of open space. The space allows people to experience nature, encounter the arts, pursue justice, foster community, and explore faith. In the past year, Grace Farms has hosted a number of events, including a recent look at renewal in the wake of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
The weeklong celebration, entitled "Possibilities Are Endless," will kick off on Oct. 8, with a free unveiling of Moon Love Dreaming, a permanent artwork specifically designed to fill the length of the west barn hallway by Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
Later that day there will be a performance by former principal dancer of the New York City Ballet Wendy Whelan, a reading by award-winning poet Li-Young Lee and a conversation between Milhazes and the Grace Farms Foundation’s curatorial adviser Yuko Hasegawa. The evening will culminate with a champagne reception in the West Barn Hall.
Throughout the anniversary week, from Oct. 11-14, Grace Farms will offer daily nature walks and fall foliage tours around their 80 acres and river building. On the aforementioned dates, there will be a tour from 2:15 to 3:45 p.m. along with an additional sunset tour on Friday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for children and $25 for adults.

The anniversary programming will culminate with a benefit celebration on Oct. 15 featuring a conversation with supporters of modern art; a keynote from the architects of the facility, Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, of the Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese firm, SANAA; a performance by Gallim Dance; and an immersive sunset experience. Tickets for this banquet are $500 for an individual or $900 for a couple.
