Lewisboro Library Offers Spring Break Activities

SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Looking for attractions to take your kids to while they are off from school this week? The Lewisboro Library offers several local events that are friendly for families.

The first is called "Dragon Dens & Fairy Huts" and is scheduled for Tuesday, March 22 at 3 p.m.

"Build magical dwellings for your favorite storybook characters," the promotion states. The gathering is geared towards kids in kindergarten through fifth grade.

The second event is called "Volcano Creations," where kids can learn about how volcanoes work. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 23 at 2 p.m. It will targeted to kids in grades 3 to 5.

The third event is titled "Jellyfish Jamboree," which is targeted to kids in kindergarten through third grade. The library notes that the event allows for learning about jellyfish and for kids to make their own "jellyfish in a bottle." It is scheduled for Friday, March 25 at 3 p.m.
