The fair's highlight is the book sale, but it also features “Attic Treasures” and toy sales, as well as a silent auction, food, music, vintage cars, kids’ games, rides on the Wells Fargo Stagecoach, vendor booths and a visit from the New Canaan Nature Center's Birds of Prey.

There also will be an after-sale of books and attic treasures from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

The fair’s car show, or Concours d’Elegance, will showcase a wide range of vehicles from show cars to backyard classics, as well as a special section for green technology vehicles.

The car show is sponsored by Lexus of Mount Kisco. Awards are given in each of 10 categories. To register, contact Dean Travalino at (914) 763-5393 or r5fuego@aol.com. There is no entrance fee, but space is limited.

Donations of baked goods are needed, and can be dropped off at the bake sale tent anytime after 10 a.m. Saturday.

If you have a unique item or service you’d like to contribute to the silent auction, please contact maryshah@optonline.net.

All proceeds from the fair go into the library's operating budget, which pays for new materials and programs to benefit the entire community. If you are available to volunteer to work at the fair, please sign up at www.lewlibfair.weebly.com or at the library.

Do you have a small business selling jewelry, crafts, home services, etc.? The fair has a limited number of vendor spaces for $80. Free spaces are available to community organizations. Click here for vendor applications and here for community applications. For more information, contact Christine McKenna at Cmckenna86@optimum.net.

The library also needs the support of local businesses and individuals to underwrite the costs of producing the fair, such as tent rentals, food and music, so more proceeds can go directly to the operating budget. If you are interested in being a named sponsor, please call Cindy Rubino at (914) 875-9004 or (914) 763-3857.
