WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - A severe thunderstorm watch has been issed by the National Weather Service for Westchester County. Extreme weather is expected to hit the area Friday until 9 p.m.
Incoming storms have potential to produce local flooding, the NWS said.
The stormy weather should continue through the weekend. A strong cold front is expected to arrive by Sunday with thunderstorms ahead of it, also with flooding potential.
