PURCHASE, N.Y. - Taylor Wilson scored a game-high 21 points and also grabbed six rebounds as Manhattanville defeated visiting Brooklyn College, 71-67 in a womens college basketball game, Monday.
It was the home opener for the Lady Valiants, who also had four other players in double figures. Wilson, from Pearl River (Rockland County), sank four 3-pointers in the second half as the Lady Valiants went on a 16-4 run to grab a 62-49 lead. Kelli Hyjek added 13 points, Courtney Turner finished with 12 and Sarah Vann chipped in 11.
