Blind Brook Parents Upset About Staff Changes

RYE BROOK, N.Y. -- Parents are criticizing the Blind Brook Board of Education's decision to reorganize key positions in the district offices, according to lohud.com.

Besides the elimination of the district's guidance director, the revisions call for the addition of an assistant principal at Blind Brook Middle School and an assistant to work beneath the district's director of pupil services and will be effective July 1, according to lohud.com.

Some said they felt duped, particularly after voting for the 2016-17 school budget in May, a $43,226,703 spending plan that included the guidance director as a line item, according to lohud.com.
