HARRISON, N.Y. -- Harrison voters favored two Republican Party challengers on Thursday over incumbent Town Justices in a four-way primary runoff for two part-time seats.

Unofficial results from the Westchester County Board of Elections showed Harrison Councilman Joseph L. Cannella and Pasquale G. Gizzo leading incumbent Justice Marc J. Lust, who is a registered Democrat, and incumbent Justice Nelson E. Canter, a registered Republican.

Cannella received 782 votes, or about 33 percent of total votes cast. Gizzo received 622 votes or about 26 percent. of the total.

Canter was in third with 537 votes, or 22 percent, and Lust was running last with 458 votes, or 19 percent.

Gizzo and Cannella also were the unofficial leaders on Thursday in a three-way primary election runoff as Conservative Party candidates for town justice, narrowly edging Canter. The names of the top two vote-getters will appear on the Conservative Party ballot line on Nov. 3.

Lust, who was arrested for drunken driving in December 2014, remains a candidate for a fifth term as town justice in the Nov. 3 general election despite Thursday's loss on the Republican Party line.

Lust's name will appear on the Democratic and Independent party lines in November. He is awaiting trial on his DWI charge in Manhattan Criminal Court.
