According to financial disclosure forms that representatives are required to file, Lowey and her husband, David, have assets between $11 million and $44 million, with between $1 million and $5 million in their checking accounts. In 2014, Lowey was ranked as the 17th wealthiest member of Congress, according to the New York Post.
On the flipside, Eliot Engel, who represents Southern Westchester, owes between $10,000 and $15,000 on a Visa credit card, according to the Post.
