Six Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops

Nearly two dozen drivers were arrested by New York State Police troopers over the weekend in the Hudson Valley.

Westchester County

  • On Friday, Oct. 18, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Aida M. Rivera 50, of Cortlandt, for DWI with a previous conviction within ten years, a class E felony. She arrived on Memorial Drive in the town of Cortlandt, when she was the subject of an intoxicated parent attempting to pick up her child from the Cortlandt Youth Center. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Oct. 19, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Ryan J. Simpson 26, of Croton-on-Hudson, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in the village of Croton-on-Hudson, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Oct. 20, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Mariana Freiberg 27, of Ardsley, for DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony. She was traveling on State Route 9 in the town of Cortlandt, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Oct. 20, State Police from Stormville arrested Michael C. Rivera, 39, of Yonkers, for Aggravated DWI Leandra’s Law, a class E felony. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Putnam Valley, when he was involved in a one-car motor vehicle crash with a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Oct. 20, State Police from Somers arrested Toni M. Dozier 65, of Lewisboro, for DWI. She was traveling on I-684 in the town of Bedford, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Oct. 20, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Jessica Maffettone 41, of Cortlandt, for DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony. She was traveling on State Route 9 in the City of Peekskill, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Putnam County

  • On Saturday, Oct. 19, State Police from Brewster arrested Raymond A. D’Onofrio 25, of Southeast, for DWI. He was traveling on I-684 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Monday, Oct. 21, State Police from Somers arrested Jake R. Federico 24, of Putnam Valley, for DWI. He was traveling on Tomohawk Street in the town of Carmel, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Dutchess County

  • On Saturday, Oct. 19, State Police from Stormville arrested Marlaina D. Hrosch 26, of Wappinger Falls, for DWI. She was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Putnam Valley, when she was found on the shoulder of the Parkway with damage to the vehicle, and no front driver side wheel. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Oct. 20, State Police from Wappinger arrested Kelly A. Denicolais 52, of Beacon, for DWI. She was traveling on Herbert Street in the city of Beacon, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Fairfield County

  • On Saturday, Oct. 19, State Police from Stormville arrested Danielle C. Verboven 27, of Bethel, for DWI. She was traveling on I-84 in the town of East Fishkill, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
