Police: ‘Unruly’ Hunterdon County Man Refusing To Wear Mask At Walmart Throws Coffee On Ground

A Hunterdon County man refusing to wear a mask at a local Walmart became belligerent and “unruly” when he was asked to leave and threw his cup of coffee on the ground, authorities said.

The unnamed 58-year-old Califon man was asked and subsequently refused to wear a mask at Walmart on Dec. 26 around 4:20 p.m., Mansfield Township police said.

The man had just been asked to leave the store when he became “unruly” and threw his cup of coffee on the ground, police said.

Officers stopped the man as he was leaving in his vehicle and issued him a summons for disturbing the peace.
