HARRISON, N.Y. - Harrison Police Chief Anthony Marraccini and the Harrison Police Department hosted its annual Open House on Sunday, and large crowds turned out for the event in perfect fall weather.
The theme was to see how the Police Department operates, as well as learn about the special services provided to the community.
There were representatives from Harrison, Purchase, West Harrison Fire Departments and Harrison Emergency Medical Services, all on hand to present/discuss special services they provide.
In the spirit of mutual aid and joint cooperation among police departments in Westchester, Marraccini also invited officers from the Mount Pleasant Police Scuba/Dive Team, Westchester County Police Aviation Unit & Bomb Squad, and the New York State Police displayed their Motor Vehicle Roll Cage and Dive Tank.
