HARRISON, N.Y. Harrison Police issued five summonses for motor vehicle-related violations over the past week:
Suspended License: A 51-year-old man from West Babylon, N.Y., was issued a summons on June 6 at 11:35 a.m. at the intersection of Halstead Avenue and Haviland Street. A check of the mans records revealed that he had seven unpaid tickets.
Suspended License & Forgery: Police pulled over Elias Valdez, 38, of Stamford, Conn., at 2175 Westchester Ave. at 5:25 p.m. June 6. A license check showed that Valdezs license was suspended for five unpaid tickets on one date. Police ran a registration check on Valdezs temporary license plates that showed no record. Valdez is charged with second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a Class D felony.
Insurance Lapses: A license plate reader determined that two people were driving with insurance lapses on June 8. The first, a 25-year-old woman from Plattsburgh, was issued a summons at 4 p.m. at 440 Mamaroneck Ave., while a 48-year old Mamaroneck man was issued a similar summons at 4:48 p.m. at the same location.
Revoked License: A Mount Vernon man, 36, was issued a summons at 1:20 a.m. June 9 for driving with a revoked license.
