HARRISON, N.Y. - Vito Arace of Harrison died April 4. He was 85.
Arace was born in Andretta, Italy, to Agostino and Caterina Arace. He worked as a butcher for many years at Shopwell in NYC.
Arace is survived by his wife, Catherine; his children, Augostino (Debbie), Donald (Sandra) and Roseann (Michael) Cardi; nine grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; and sister, Isabelle Corvino. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours will be Friday, April 5 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home 767 E.Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church. Followed by entombment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
