Alfonso Carpenito, 75, Of West Harrison

WEST HARRISON, N.Y. - Alfonso (Fuzzy) Carpenito of West Harrison died May 29. He was 75.

Carpenito was born Feb.13, 1938, to Dominic and Angelina (nee Magnotta) Carpenito in White Plains. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964. He was a retired self employed painting contractor in the White Plains area.

Carpenito is survived by his wife, Maria (nee Pisello) Carpenito of West Harrison; son, Thomas A. Carpenito of White Plains; two granddaughters; son-in-law, Frank Tesoro; brothers, James Carpenito of West Harrison and John Carpenito of North White Plains; sisters, Antoinette Moriarty of Orlando, Fla., Frances Maccabee and Carol Shallo both of White Plains; many uncles; nieces and nephews; cousins; and close friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Suzanne Tesoro; brothers, Felix (Sonny), Dominic (Butch),and Raymond Carpenito; and sister, Linda Ciaramella.

Calling hours are Friday, May 31 from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 1 at  Our Lady of Mt.Carmel Church, White Plains. Interment in Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh.
