What's Happening in Harrison This Weekend

HARRISON, N.Y. – A performance by legendary musicians David Crosby and Graham Nash and a school play at Samuel J. Preston Elementary School highlight this weekend's events in Harrison.

Friday

  • SUNY Purchase and WFUV 90.7 will host “Art, Music and Cocktails” from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Neuberger Museum of Art. Admission is free to members of the museum and costs $20 for all others. Reservations can be made by calling 914-251-6125.
  • Harrison Avenue School will host family movie night beginning at 6:30 p.m.  
  • Legendary musicians David Crosby and Graham Nash will perform at the Performing Arts Center at SUNY Purchase beginning at 8:30 p.m. Tickets for the event cost between $100 and $150. For more information call the ticket office at 914-251-6200

Saturday

  • Academic help will be available at the Harrison Public Library from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tutors will be available to help children with academic-related work and board games.
  • “Tail Waggin’ Tutors” will return to the Harrison Public Library. From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. a therapy dog will be at the library for children to read to it. The event is for children of all ages.
  • Preston Elementary School will host a Theater Arts Performance at 1 p.m.

Sunday

  • Tomas Kubinek, Certified Lunatic and Master of the Impossible, will perform at the PepsiCo Theater at SUNY Purchase at 3 p.m. Kubinek has played to audiences around the world including a sold-out run on Broadway recently. Tickets are priced from $25 to $35 with discounts offered to senior citizens and children. For more information visit the center’s website
