HARRISON, N.Y. - Click here to download the agenda for the Wednesday, Sept. 7 meeting of the Harrison town board. The meeting will be at the downtown municipal building at 7:30 p.m. and will include a special visit from Assemblyman Robert J. Castelli (R, C - Goldens Bridge).
Items on the agenda include a report on the allocation of a $1,500 monthly stipend to Deputy Town Clerk Angela J. Tamucci to compensate for increased responsibilities since the sudden death of former Clerk Joseph Acocella.
Town Attorney Frank Allegretti will update the town on matters discussed in a previous board meeting, including how to manage the placement and allocation of election signs in Harrison and a "no knock" registry for residents.
Advisor to the Recreation Department Ron Belmont will also brief the town board on the October weekend festivities for "It's Great to Live in Harrison," which include a parade on Monday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. and a festival to follow at the downtown Ma Riis Park.
