HARRISON, N.Y. - Harrison's Section I Class A Girls' Volleyball champs earned themselves another win, beating Section 4 Class A champions Horseheads.
The Huskies won 3-1 with scores of 25-17, 16-25, 25-18, and 25-17. Their next match is set for 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at Bard College against Section 9 Class A champions from Cornwall for the regional final. A win would mean redemption, as the Huskies lost to Cornwall last year in the Regional Finals.
Should the Huskies win, they will advance to the State Finals for the first time in team history.
The Harrison Girls' Volleyball team prides itself this season in having a total of three Con Edison winners in Jenna Webb, last spring for softball, Jessica Segal a few weeks ago for her regular season play, and now Lily Stokoe, for her athletic prowess in the playoffs.
